Angelfish are one of my favorite aquarium fish. They’re related to Oscars, African Cichlids, and other aggressive fish species, but are just docile enough to live peacefully with select tank mates. Their bodies are completely flat, tall like underwater grass when facing their prey. When hunting, they’ll orient their shadows with sunlight to leave the smallest, skinniest shadow possible to stay stealthy
